Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited has silently launched JioTV and JioCinema on the desktop, which allows Jio users to login with their Jio mobile number or Jio ID to stream content. JioTV allows users to stream 500+ channels including 60+ HD channels spread across 10 genres and 15 languages, while JioCinema offers 1 lakh+ hours of exciting content: movies, TV Shows, music videos, clips and trailers. Until the launch on the desktop, JioTV and JioCinema have been available on the Android and iOS platforms.
Reliance Jio is offering 100% cashback on mobile recharges of Rs 399 for a limited this. This is as a part of the Diwali celebrations and is valid Rs 399 mobile recharges done from October 12 to 18. The deal is open to all users and is valid on recharges done on Reliance Jio app in addition to being available with Paytm wallet, Mobikwik, Freecharge and other recharge partners. This works with offline recharges at merchant points and retailers too.
Jio’s latest announcement is here and it’s a brand new offer package. Calling it the Jio DhanDhanaDhan Offer, users will be entitled to get 84 days of free Jio usage on paying Rs 309 or Rs 509. This looks a lot like the existing Jio Summer Surprise Offer, but the existing Jio Summer Surprise Offer users will not be able to redeem the Jio DhanDhanaDhan Offer. Jio’s basically duplicating the Jio Summer Surprise Offer and is calling it the Jio DhanDhanaDhan Offer here.
In a recent press release, Jio has announced that the company is withdrawing their latest offering: Jio Summer Surprise Offer. Jio Summer Surprise Offer was announced on March 31 and offers users an additional 3 months of free usage. But, as per the new TRAI ruling, users cannot apply for this free offering anymore. Existing users who had paid Rs 303 earlier will continue to retain the 3 months free offering.
