Today morning at the Apple WWDC 2017, the Cupertino based giant announced the launch of a iOS 11. The new iOS upgrade brings in a range of interesting features to iOS powered devices. This is by far the largest iOS upgrade for iPad machines ever. Some of the key mentions that were announced with the launch of iOS are discussed here: ApplePay, ARKit that brings in a powerful augmented reality platform with iOS, DND mode while driving, improved Apple Pencil integration on the iPad, Files app to make file management easier on the iOS, improved Siri, improved photography experience on the iPhone devices and redesigned App Store.
Apple’s developer conference, WWDC, is all set to kick off in a couple of hours. The 2017 edition of the WWDC conference is expected to feature major upgrades to iOS with the launch of iOS 11 and we will hopefully see an upgrade to macOS too. The event’s scheduled to begin at 10am PDT (10.30pm IST, 2am JST). Keynote will happen for the first two hours with key persons taking stage.
Google just announced a brand new app, more like a feature, called Google Lens that harness the power of Google Assistant on all camera-related activities. Google Lens is the search giant’s latest offering that enables AI-powered Google Assistant on processing things that you see in real-life. With a simple scan of your a sign board, you can translate the text on that board to your local language in real-time and process this result in whatever application you want / in whatever application it can.
